Hands down the best experience I have ever had moving in London or anywhere for that matter -- and I have moved a lot! They were nice, professional, helpful, and they got all of my stuff out of my house and into my new flat in record time ! So impressed ! Was able to book on the bank holiday as well - booked on Saturday, moved on the holiday Monday. Thank you Paul !
I have used Paul on three occasions now and I wouldn’t actually use anyone else now. The service is impeccable, Paul and his colleague are incredibly friendly and efficient and they are always reliable. I would highly recommend CityVan.
Paul and his son helped us move large, awkward items to our new home. They were both so helpful and didn’t flinch at the thought of potentially having to carry heavy wardrobe panels up the stairs to a fifth floor apartment. Luckily, everything made it into the lift. All of our belongings arrived without any damage and we would definitely use their services again, once we’ve recovered from this move! :-)
Paul is incredibly reliable, efficient and friendly. He has helped me on two occasions now - first when I needed some boxes moved to storage which he did same day, and I've then used him again for a work project moving furniture quickly out of a house to storage. With his colleague he is quick and professional - nothing is an issue - he is very much 'can-do' and wants to help wherever possible. Already booked him for a third job and would recommend him to everyone!

This so called “reliable” man in van nearly left us stranded on the day And in a terrible position. After booking a date with him over 2 weeks in advance , we decided to message him 48
Hours before moving day just to say all ready for Saturday as we had not heard from him. We then get a message back saying “was just about to message you, my van has an issue and is in the garage , should be fine but I’ll let you know”. We respond back right away With we need to know ASAP do you have another van . We don’t hear back from Him until 7pm (12 hours before our moving time), saying “sorry getting back to you late , van has another issue so I won’t be able to do it “. What kind of service is this!?! We had to spend the entire last day trying to organise another one with everyone fully booked , moving is already stressful but this added so much more . Avoid at all costs!!! Don’t give yourself stress by booking this man, unprofessional, unreliable and an absolute joke.

Really happy with the punctual and reliable service from City Van. Paul offered a great service. He was very polite, helpful and professional. He and his son have a brilliant ‘can- do’ positive attitude and nothing is too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend him for speed and courtesy and fair and transparent pricing. Paul was amazing - I can't thank him enough. I need urgent help the next day, he confirmed instantly. He kindly did multiple picks ups en route for me, helped when I got stuck in traffic by arranging pick up of a sofa, and was super quick and helped move everything into the flat very quickly. Paul has helped me move things twice, most recently a complicated house move which he made possible including moving a few very heavy/tricky objects from my garden. Call him when you need, and you'd get transparent pricing, efficient and dedicated service. A nice chat too if you join him in the van! I highly recommend CityVan (and will use Paul's service again for sure!).

Would highly recommend using City Van for all your removal needs. Paul is very friendly, helpful and professional. He arrived on time and was very efficient with getting everything out of the house and into the van, handling everything very carefully to ensure no damage.
The job took longer than expected due to traffic and key collection delays, but Paul was very accommodating and flexible throughout.
Couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

I found Cityvan by doing some googling, and booked on relatively short notice, all very easily by talking to Paul on the phone. The quote you receive is what you pay, no bad surprise. Paul arrived late because of traffic but kept me updated. Paul didn’t mind taking me and my friend with him onboard the van, and had great conversation and got great advice from him ha! Thanks to Paul for making this house move a seamless process!

I booked CityVan to move some furniture at very short notice and I cannot recommend Paul highly enough. He was brilliant from start to finish. He was very accommodating when arranging the collection time, turned up exactly when he said he would, and he was very patient and polite when collecting and dropping off the items.
Paul has a brilliant attitude and treats people with respect and kindness. Even though the job took a bit longer than the 2 hours which he originally quoted for, Paul refused to accept any additional payment - this level of integrity is very rare nowadays.
If you are looking for a trustworthy, reliable service which is good value for money then Paul is your man. A genuinely honest man who you can trust with your most precious belongings. And probably one of the nicest people you could ever meet :)

Paul made my move in to my flat so stress free and seamless - I can’t recommend him enough!
He was responsive throughout the process, showed up on time and carried all my items up and down multiple flights of stairs (doing it all with a smile).
Moving can be a logistical nightmare - contacting Paul was one of the best decisions I’ve made! If I move again, I will definitely reach out to him.

I cannot recommend CityVan highly enough!
Paul and his colleague did a full house move for me (1 bed apartment into 2 bed) and the move was seamless. Not a single item lost, broken, damaged or even scratched and Paul also came back a couple of days later to move a couple of extra things for me at no extra cost.
CityVan is a family run British business and the owner works very hard to ensure his customers get more than they expect. If you are looking for someone reliable and honest to move your worldly possessions then look no further.

Paul was a really fab driver.
Arrived on time and helped to load the van with my stuff patiently and carefully. He drove with the same care and we had great conversation while on route.

I've been calling for two days to different moving companies just to collect a mattress from the store and deliver it to my place and to dispose the old one. Well, only Paul has reasonable prices and availability, he came few hours after my call.

Do not trust this company. I have never had a worse experience. I have booked a van with this company for moving homes last Thursday at 3. Around 3 I receive a message saying that he will be late because of a broken lift at an earlier job and said that he will come around 5. When its past 5, he says that he is not coming because he's been in an accident which I do not believe any of it was true. He was very rude. I was left in an extremely difficult situation because of this person and had to find another vehicle at 18-19 and move myself. It was one of the most terrible days of my life. Cityvan is not even a company, it is just one person who doesn't deserve to be trusted.

Yes unfortunately due to some issues this day I did have to cancel your job. However when I promised to make alternative arrangements for you at our expense you threatened me to leave "200" bad reviews If I don't, therefore yes I refused to have any further contact with you as we don't tolerate this kind of blackmail.
On top of this, this bozo called me 6 times on this day begging me to reduce the cost of he's move, to which I told the price is set at the quoted price.
I look forward to reading the other 199 negative reviews in due course.
This person clearly thinks he can get he's own way by threatening people and gets upset and bitter when he's threats don't work.
Ps. It's not just a man, it's a man and a van :)

I booked Paul with just three days notice after a couple of failed attempts with other companies.
He was flexible and responsive when planning the move, arrived on time on the day and was very professional and efficient during the move. As an added bonus, he is a relaxed and friendly person, which helps to reduce the stress of moving even more.

Paul is an absolute legend. I literally needed a load of inventory moved for my business within the next few hours and he was straight on the scene. Very professional, great banter, and I went on to use him again for a friend’s house move. Even though he’d been working 90 hour weeks, he still dropped me back off home afterwards despite it being out of his way. Goes above and beyond, will continue to use his services in the future!

Absolutely appalling service.The man (known as CityVan) turned up extremely late without any warning, knowing I had an appointment slot which he caused me to miss. When I brought up that he was late, he became unpredictable and said I had an issue with his 'status.' Overall I was subject to a very traumatic experience. I would not use or recommend this man to anyone. He actually offered to drop my bags off at my flat but I was so shocked and upset by this point I decided to move them myself. A lovely cleaner saw me in the rain and ended up helping me. CityVan overcharged me for the job compared to his quote online (which was initially £45 for 1-7 items but then CityVan said on the day £50). and his customer service is nowhere to be found - do your research and find someone who respects the customer. CityVan informed me they would report any attempt by me to leave honest feedback.
UPDATE: Since reviewing CityVan's services, CityVan has left me concerning messages on my phone, which I've had to block and report to my mobile provider. He claimed to have contacted my workplace and my boss - I also had to raise this with my colleagues to ensure my privacy was protected.
