Hands down the best experience I have ever had moving in London or anywhere for that matter -- and I have moved a lot! They were nice, professional, helpful, and they got all of my stuff out of my house and into my new flat in record time ! So impressed ! Was able to book on the bank holiday as well - booked on Saturday, moved on the holiday Monday. Thank you Paul !
I have used Paul on three occasions now and I wouldn’t actually use anyone else now. The service is impeccable, Paul and his colleague are incredibly friendly and efficient and they are always reliable. I would highly recommend CityVan.
Paul and his son helped us move large, awkward items to our new home. They were both so helpful and didn’t flinch at the thought of potentially having to carry heavy wardrobe panels up the stairs to a fifth floor apartment. Luckily, everything made it into the lift. All of our belongings arrived without any damage and we would definitely use their services again, once we’ve recovered from this move! :-)
Paul is incredibly reliable, efficient and friendly. He has helped me on two occasions now - first when I needed some boxes moved to storage which he did same day, and I've then used him again for a work project moving furniture quickly out of a house to storage. With his colleague he is quick and professional - nothing is an issue - he is very much 'can-do' and wants to help wherever possible. Already booked him for a third job and would recommend him to everyone!

Paul was reliable, friendly, helpful, efficient and excellent value. Great communication from first contact. He took both myself and my belongings from London to Bath and carried everything up the three flights of stairs to my new home. I can’t recommend him enough.

After contacting 10 different removal companies, I rang CityVan and Paul was the only one who didn’t charge a minimum of 2hr removal. I only needed a sofa to be moved which Paul charged a fair rate for and accepted the job with only a few hours notice. He is really nice and friendly and couldn’t recommend him more. Paul and his team have been fab! They were very punctual, friendly, extremely organised and made everything so much easier moving! I’ve actually used Paul twice in the last month for the two legs of my move and the service was as good both times so very consistent quality! The service has been so good that I’m actually using Paul again for disposing of a wardrobe and would not hesitate to use him again in the future to make moving a whole lot easier!

We are delighted with their work. From the beginning, Paul was very easy to communicate with and responded promptly and thoughtfully. He and Ashley were kind, friendly, focused, and worked extremely hard throughout. As well as moving our stuff they collected and determinedly assembled a new futon in the new place, despite the poor instructions that were supplied and were imaginative in finding solutions to all challenges. They were the best movers we have ever had and highly recommend them.

I used Paul for my move at the weekend and I can’t recommend him enough. I booked relatively last minute and he managed to fit me in. I also had to be out of my old flat at 10am but wasn’t able to get into my new flat until later that afternoon. Paul came up with a workaround and dropped my things off to me later in the day. He even picked up two items of furniture that had been delivered to my old flat two days later. He definitely provides a service above and beyond what I expected. He made the whole moving process so much easier, quicker and stress free and was very good in terms of communication beforehand. I will definitely use him for any future moves and would recommend him to anyone I know. I was quite worried about using a service I’d found online without a recommendation from a friend but there was really no need! Thanks Paul!

As far as moving companies go, you get what you pay for. I’ve tried cheaper and found them to be bad at communication, time and care for my items. So I wanted someone I could completely trust to take care of moving my personal belongings and not feel the need to micromanage. I was thankful Paul not only earned my trust superbly but he also brought character and charm to make moving seem, dare I say, fun.
I had a really great experience moving to my new apartment, and it’s all thanks to Paul and his son for their workmanship in making it a memorable day. He was lucky the wind didn’t blow away his reward! ;-)
I can’t recommend Paul highly enough to family and relatives, and will not hesitate to use his services again.

Paul made moving a breeze and was an absolute lifesaver. He fit me in very last minute, kept me updated, let me know when he was 15 minutes away and moved everything carefully and quickly at both ends. He was lovely company on the journey too. Amazing service! Paul helped me move into my new flat and it made the whole move 100x easier and smoother - I’d definitely use him again for any other moves! He was super friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to help. He took way more in his van than we’d originally told him (including my bike and chest of drawers), and was always more than happy to help!
